Methoni
Methoni retains its traditional architecture and reaches all the way to the clear sea, with beautiful beaches that offer both forest green and sea blue.
Known for its position and its castle, which is surrounded by a protective moat that makes it looks like an island. The castle is protected by the octagonal “Bourtzi” fort, which is covered with crenulations. Bourtzi is an old Turkish building that was also used as a prison.
